The Jennings Garden Club presented the resident moms at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home with beautiful wrist corsages in honor of Mother’s Day.

For Louisiana Arbor Day and as part of Love The Boot week, the Jennings Garden Club donated a 5 in diameter, 16 ft live oak tree to the Marcus Cain Park in Jennings. The Garden Club also participated in the Pickup for the Parish Love the Boot event by handing out snacks and drinks to the participants.

Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home Mother's Day

On May 9, 2025, the Jennings Garden Club presented corsages to mothers who are residents of the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home. Members of the Garden Club penned the corsages on the mothers during their Mother’s Day Tea Party.
