The home of Linda and Wash Edwards on South Laurel Street has been selected for the Stem and Stamen Garden Club as the July Garden of the Month. The well manicured and colorful beds are the work of Mrs. Edwards and feature Crepe Myrtles, Drift Roses, Jubilation Gardenias, Camellias and Periwinkles. The beds are accented with evenly spaced plantings of Aztec Grass. In the rear yard, there is a large vegetable garden that is Mr. Edwards’ project. Additionally, he mows and edges the spacious lawn.
