Meeting Honoring Mothers - May 21

Then today, May 21st 2026, at our Club's regular meeting our member set a place setting in memory of their Mom's or Grandmother's or Mother-in-law's. It was very nice and suggested that it become an annual tradition. Submitted by Deborah W. Branigan

TRANSITION CEREMONY - Honoring 8th Graders 

Lecompte Garden Club- District III - held the 'Transition Ceremony' for the 11 students leaving Carter C. Raymond's 8th grade going on to High School next year. It was at Smith's Landing, courtesy of the Lecompte Garden Club. Attached are some photos. The First United Methodist Church of Lecompte (2 Lecompte Garden Club Members-Susanne Jones & Debbie Branigan) asked the church to sponsor the event. The students each received the Dr. Sessus book, "OH, the Places You'll Go", a certificate, and refreshments. The school presented awards and recognition of each student for achievements.
