Plans and Fundraiser
Lake Charles…The 2024 Louisiana Garden Club Federation Convention Chairmen were joined by LGCF President, Patricia Ortalano, for their second planning meeting on August 23. The meeting was led by District VII Convention Chair Pam Langley. Progress on developing the schedule for the two day event was made and suggestions for workshop presenters were shared. The location for the April 16-17, 2024 event will be L ’Auberge Casino in Lake Charles, which will be a perfect setting to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of LGCF’s existence. Both members and non-members of LGCF are encouraged to Save the Date for some “Lake Effect Fun” that promises to be an educational and entertaining gathering.
Tickets are still available for the convention fundraiser on Wednesday, September 20! Delta Divas Carol Bullard and Debby Cooper will present their creative inspirations of Floral Designs.
