A Note from Carla Gauthier, LGCF President

Dear LGCF Garden Club friends,

What an eventful Summer Board meeting! The Independence Park Botanic Garden, with those beautiful irises painted across the front, was the perfect setting for such an event. We shared ideas, made new friends, reacquainted ourselves with others, learned a few things we did not know before, laughed, all the while carrying on the business of LGCF. I wanted to thank all that attended the function and those that took on the many tasks necessary to make it perfect. As I said at the meeting, I have a new extended family now, so many of you stepped forward to help, I didn’t even have to ask, just like a real family. I look  
forward to sharing more happy times with all of you over the next two years…...Carla
